Jo Becker
A former Oregon REALTORĀ®, Jo was licensed for 8 years and served on PMAR's Board of Directors. For 10 years, she worked for the Fair Housing Council of Oregon, a nonprofit committed to civil rights in housing where she has trained over 10K individuals to consistently rave reviews. Her focus there was on housing providers such as REALTORSĀ®, property managers, private landlords, etc. Jo has also studied animals and emergency preparedness since 2005. Today her career consists of an unexpected alchemy of public speaking and writing for everyone from the housing industry and utility companies to professional and volunteer disaster responders on topics ranging from critter body language and animals-in-disaster to on-the-job safety and fair housing law. Jo's themes center on overcoming fears and maintaining safety, be it personal or professional security, unfamiliar critters, or unexpected catastrophes.
