John develops and teaches training on the subjects of building science, energy efficiency, sustainable building practices to Energy Auditors, Builders, Architects/Designers, Home Inspectors and Building Code officials. He has developed curriculum for both in classroom training and interactive online training. John leads CakeSystems Energy Modeling Software technical development. He worked as a verifier and EPS energy modeler for Energy Trust of Oregon New Homes program 2009-2011. He is a certified Building Analyst with the Building Performance Institute, and a LEED for Homes Green Rater. John earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from University of California, Davis. OAR Live Courses & Online Courses Are NON-TRANSFERABLE.OAR live and online courses are different products. Time spent in each cannot be transferred from one to the other, or interchanged. All students should be advised that they are required to complete 100% of the OAR course solely live in the classroom or 100% of the OAR course solely online; if a student chooses to cancel from one mode to another, they must start the course again from the beginning. A cancellation must be approved by OAR.
