This class will be held on Zoom from 9am to 12pm on July 20th-21st and July 27th-28th. It is required to attend all 3 hour session in order to get CE.

The RENE Certification Course is an interactive experience to help negotiators elevate their game! The course examines all types of negotiation formats and methods -- including virtual -- so that today's negotiators can play the game to win. A full spectrum of tips, tools, and techniques are provided so that you can provide effective results for your client.

The course curriculum also includes a variety of real-world field simulations to help you apply the power tools, techniques, and tactics learned in the course. These will provide the foundational experience and practice you will need to master to effectively advocate for your clients.

Melanie McLane
Melanie McLane is a second-generation REALTOR®, who is an appraiser, broker and educator. Recently awarded REALTOR® Emeritus status, she has been in real estate all of her adult life. A graduate of Kenyon College, Gambier Ohio, she holds the following designations and certifications: ABR, CRB, CRS, EPRO, GREEN, GRI, RAA, RSPS, PSA, SRES, SRS; she is also certified as a distance instructor (CDEI) and is an Appraiser Qualifications Board approved USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice) Instructor. She has written numerous courses, both for her own use, and as works for hire for other educational companies including Hondros College and the National Association of Realtors (NAR), and several state realtor associations. She also served as a SME/author for the Pricing Strategy Advisor Course for NARA, as well as other NAR courses, including RSPS. She has served as President for her local association, West Branch Valley Association of REALTORS®; two terms as District Vice-President for the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS®; and on various NAR committees, task forces, and forums. In 2008, she was inducted into the REBAC Hall of Fame as an instructor, and in 2012, she was named RSPS of the Year for her contributions to the RSPS course. Her local association has honored her with the “Spirit Award”, the “Outstanding Achievement Award” and twice with “REALTOR® of the Year.” In 2018, the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS® named her REALTOR® of the Year. She continues to list, sell and appraise, as well as teach. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

The day prior to the date of the webinar, all registered participants will receive an email from Oregon REALTORS® providing webinar login instructions, CE directions, and handouts (if applicable). All Oregon REALTORS® webinars are individual, meaning each participant who would like to receive CE from the webinar must purchase the webinar and view it completely. 50 minutes of seat time is required per 1 hour of education to receive CE for a webinar. Any participant who views the webinar for less than 50 minutes will not receive CE, no exceptions. By signing into the webinar with the same first and last name that you registered with, Oregon REALTORS® will be able to verify your attendance and issue you a CE certificate.

All participants who meet the mandatory seat-time requirement and paid for the webinar will be provided a CE certificate in their member profile up to one week after the date of the webinar. To receive a full refund, a cancellation request must be received via email (education@oregonrealtors.org) 48-hours prior to the start of any webinar. All cancellation requests received after the 48-hour time period will not be issued a refund. No refunds or credit given for no-shows. Emergency cancellations may be considered by the course provider and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
