In this course, we will take a look at practical methods of building and maintaining relationships with sellers. You will learn how to find prospective clients, market your specific strengths, give an effective listing presentation and nurture your agent-client relationship before, during and after the transaction. This class will give you the tools to create a network of lifelong, loyal clients who will refer your services.

Barbara Canaday
Barb Canaday (REALTOR®, ePro) is a Principal Real Estate Broker with 24 years industry experience, and has been a Platinum member of the Million Dollar Club and the RE/MAX Executive Club. Barb is the Managing Principal Broker and Senior Portfolio Manager for Relay Resources, a nonprofit provider of housing, education and jobs for the disabled and others facing barriers to employment in the Portland, Oregon area.

Barb graduated cum laude from the University of Portland with a BA in Communications and minors in Marketing and Management, completing a 4-year degree in 3 years while spending one of those years studying abroad. Barb was a National Merit Scholar semifinalist, received Honors at Entrance to the University’s Honors College, and was an Oregon Scholar. As a youth, Barb was an internationally ranked Equestrienne who was offered a junior position on the US Equestrian team in Colorado Springs, Colorado in preparation for the 1984 Olympics. Injuries ended her career.

Barb has volunteered in youth sports for 16 years as a coach, team mom, referee coordinator and athletic director. Barb and her husband have been married for 30 years. The Canaday’s have three children, a well-loved golden retriever and his equally loved cat. 

The day prior to the date of the class, all registered participants will receive an email from Oregon REALTORS® providing webinar login instructions, CE directions, and handouts (if applicable). All Oregon REALTORS® classes are individual, meaning each participant who would like to receive CE from the class must purchase the webinar and view it completely. 50 minutes of seat time is required per 1 hour of education to receive CE for a webinar. Any participant who views the webinar for less than 50 minutes will not receive CE, no exceptions. By signing into the class with the same first and last name that you registered with, Oregon REALTORS® will be able to verify your attendance and issue you a CE certificate.

All participants who meet the mandatory seat-time requirement and paid for the webinar will be provided a CE certificate in their member profile up to two weeks after the date of the class. Oregon REALTORS® strives to offer the best experience possible with live webinars. To receive a full refund, a cancellation request must be received via email (education@oregonrealtors.org) 48-hours prior to the start of any class. All cancellation requests received after the 48-hour time period will not be issued a refund. No refunds or credit given for no-shows. Emergency cancellations may be considered by the course provider and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
