REALTOR® members are invited to join Dan Wagner from Inland Real Estate Group, Bob Smith Financial Advisor, David Moore, Qualified Intermediary as they discuss the topic of “UNDERSTANDING THE 1031 EXCHANGE TO GROW YOUR BUSINESS”. The program is being presented on October 27th from 9:00 am to 10:00 a.m.

During this one-hour session, Dan Wagner, Financial Advisor Bob Smith, and Qualified Intermediary David Moore will help your members learn about the use of a 1031 Exchange through a Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) with a potential of receiving a commission for the sale of the replacement real estate.

Using DST’s can help provide clients with an effective tax-deferral strategy by exchanging real property for like-kind real estate. Clients in turn can use all proceeds from the property sale for the purchase of replacement property. Additional benefits of DST’s include: no management responsibilities, access to institutional-quality properties, lower personal liability and help with estate planning.

This program will help members learn to further develop their real estate business and help advise clients by utilizing a 1031 exchange with a Delaware Statutory Trust. Dan, Bob and David will help explain how to defer capital gains taxes, shed all property operations responsibility, and keep the economic tax benefits of an active investor while reducing liability by acting as passive investor.
