Kol Peterson, Owner of Accessory Dwelling Strategies LLC - Kol Peterson is the owner of Accessory Dwelling Strategies LLC, a company dedicated to ADU related education, advocacy and consulting. Kol edits and manages accessorydwellings.org, a website that addresses ADU policy issues and features an array of ADU projects. He also teaches ADU classes through Earth Advantage wherein brokers can earn an ADU Specialist Designation. Kol also runs Portland’s city-wide ADU tour, and does ADU related teaching, speaking and consulting for a variety of audiences. Kol and his wife live in an ADU built in 2010, and also own Caravan - The Tiny House Hotel in Portland, Oregon. Caravan is the first tiny house hotel in the world and beyond its primary function as a hotel, they use Caravan as a platform to do education and policy work around small, alternative, urban infill housing.

Any cancellation request received after the 48-hour time period will result in no refund. No refunds or credit given for NO-SHOWS. Emergency cancellations may be considered by the course provider and will be reviewed on a case by case basis. OAR Live Courses & Online Courses Are NON-TRANSFERABLE.OAR live and online courses are different products. Time spent in each cannot be transferred from one to the other, or interchanged. All students should be advised that they are required to complete 100% of the OAR course solely live in the classroom or 100% of the OAR course solely online; if a student chooses to cancel from one mode to another, they must start the course again from the beginning. A cancellation must be approved by OAR.
