He will illustrate methods investors utilize to evaporate taxes, elevating your  knowledge when you work with investors, and assist home sellers who may be subject to a capital gains tax. This class will prove  once again that real estate is the best asset class to invest in.

Active in real estate since 1977 specializing in residential, investment, and property management disciplines as a Broker, Broker Owner, and Managing Principal Broker. Taught several classes including the REALTOR® Code of Ethics and LARRC. Served as 1999 President of the Oregon Association of REALTORS® and a member of the National Association of REALTORS® Hall of Fame.



Commendations include OAR REALTOR® of the Year, OAR Distinguished Service Award, Salem REALTOR® of the Year twice, Salem Distinguished Service Award, Allen Jones Memorial Award, and Salem Chamber of Commerce Distinguished Service Award for Operation: Love Boxes for our Troops.



Hobbies include running, civil war reenacting, reading American military history, and enjoys weaving stories from history into his presentations. He lives in Sunriver with his wife.

To receive a full refund, a cancellation request must be received via email (education@oregonrealtors.org) 48-hours prior to the start of any class. Any cancellation request received after the 48-hour time period will result in no refund. No refunds or credit given for NO-SHOWS. Emergency cancellations may be considered by the course provider and will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Oregon REALTORS® Live Courses & Online Courses Are NON-TRANSFERABLE. Oregon REALTORS® live and online courses are different products. Time spent in each cannot be transferred from one to the other or interchanged. All students should be advised that they are required to complete 100% of the Oregon REALTORS® course solely live in the classroom or 100% of the Oregon REALTORS® course solely online; if a student chooses to cancel from one mode to another, they must start the course again from the beginning. A cancellation must be approved by Oregon REALTORS®.
