A solid ethical foundation is an essential part of any good business practice. That’s why the National Association of REALTORS® asks its members to follow its Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. This class reviews key articles, highlights pertinent changes, and offers important takeaway points you can apply to your day-to-day business dealings to ensure you’re always ethical in your business practices.


This course counts for 3 hours of Oregon CE credit, 3 hours of GRI credit, and meets NAR's biennial (2017-2018) Code of Ethics equirement mandatory to maintain REALTOR® status.

Jimi Couture
Jimi Couture grew up in a real estate family. She obtained her license after 20 years in office administration and business management, built a successful business, and then began managing real estate offices. Jimi has successfully trained and mentored hundreds of real estate agents to build strong businesses and reach their full potential. Active in her local and state associations, has served in the past as a board member, and she stays current on trends, legal matters and governmental affairs affecting homeownership and the real estate industry. Jimi Couture is a licensed Managing Principal Broker and Continuing Education Instructor in Oregon and Washington.

OAR Live CoursesOAR reserves the right to cancel a course if a minimum enrollment* is not met, in which case a full refund would be given. OAR rarely cancels a class due to bad weather. To receive a full refund, a cancellation request must be received via email (education@oregonrealtors.org) 48-hours prior to the start of any class. Any cancellation request received after the 48-hour time period will result in no refund. No refunds or credit given for NO-SHOWS. Emergency cancellations may be considered by the course provider and will be reviewed on a case by case basis. OAR Live Courses & Online Courses Are NON-TRANSFERABLE.OAR live and online courses are different products. Time spent in each cannot be transferred from one to the other, or interchanged. All students should be advised that they are required to complete 100% of the OAR course solely live in the classroom or 100% of the OAR course solely online; if a student chooses to cancel from one mode to another, they must start the course again from the beginning. A cancellation must be approved by OAR.
