John Spillman
John Spillman is a trainer and curriculum developer, CakeSystems account manager and LEED-H Green Rater with Earth Advantage. John develops and teaches training on the subjects of building science, energy efficiency, sustainable building practices to Energy Auditors, Builders, Architects/Designers, Home Inspectors and Building Code officials. He has developed curriculum for both in classroom training and interactive online training. John leads CakeSystems Energy Modeling Software technical development. He worked as a verifier and EPS energy modeler for Energy Trust of Oregon New Homes program 2009-2011. He is a certified Building Analyst with the Building Performance Institute, and a LEED for Homes Green Rater. John earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from University of California, Davis.
