The Domestic Well Safety Program (DWSP) will be presenting on domestic/private well best practices, and the Domestic Water Testing Act (ORS 448.271). Learn how contaminants affect human health, what the main contaminants are in Oregon, and what watch out for in wells during real estate transactions. In addition, DWSP will explain statute and rules regarding the Domestic Water Testing Act, address common misconceptions, and introduce the new online submission for DWTA test results.  

Attendees will also learn about the free well testing provided by Oregon Health Authority for people whose domestic wells were impacted by the 2020 Labor Day wildfires.

A cancellation must be approved by OAR.
